MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, ITSM, Business or field related to the occupation. 
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT experience; 
  • Minimum of 4 years of Cloud experience; 
  • Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience; 
  • AWS Professional/Specialty Certification (Solutions Architect, Security, or DevOps Engineering) 

Any experience with all of the following: 

• • Python and Java Programming; 
  • Unix, Shell and/or PowerShell; 
  • Git, Python, Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform; 
  • PCI, SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR; 
  • Linux and Microsoft Windows Admin; 
  • Network administration and design; 
  • Scripting; 

• • Deploying, automating and maintaining cloud technologies on Azure and/or AWS IaaS, Paas and SaaS; 
  • Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps; 
  • OCI model, CIDRs, DNS, and certificates; 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES:  

D3Clarity Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join our Next Generation Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will strive to further advance their experience in cloud computing environments, demonstrate hands-on technical skills, have a passion and appetite to master new technologies and possess excellent communication skills. This role will be responsible for the following: 

• • Designing and managing scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure and automation tooling for routine operational tasks;  
  • Developing tooling and associated processes to improve automation, efficiency, consistency and adherence to security and audit requirements and controls; 
  • Using automation, configuration management, and deployment tools to provide cloud-based solutions; 
  • Participating in team activities such as peer code reviews, design collaboration efforts, and rotating on-call process; 
  • Working with solution architects and partners to confirm developed solutions align with existing standards, meet security controls, and meet cloud computing best practices; 
  • Ensuring cloud services and toolsets are deployed with best practices and full documentation;  
  • Managing implementation and the ongoing operation of cloud services following approved designs, adherence to patterns, security requirements, and certifying all logging and monitoring are active for security and compliance; 
  • Investigating and monitoring current-state cloud usage, solutions in use, risks, gaps, limitations and recommending solutions, optimizations, and remediation. 
  • Maintaining comprehensive and systematic configuration, lifecycle, and security management of servers; 
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and introduce them as needed; 
  • Working with internal/external customers to solve new data engineering problems; 
  • Leading Network Troubleshooting calls across hybrid cloud on on-premises environments. 

• • Will supervise 6 to 8 Junior Cloud Engineers.  
  • Telecommuting is an option for this position.  

TRAVEL: Some domestic travel required, approximately 10%.
